Ian Brou
Ian Brou is the founding pastor of Resurrection Church. He and his wife Katie have been doing life and ministry together since 2001, and they’re the proud parents of four daughters (and one son-in-law who made the cut).
Ian has spent more than 25 years in full-time ministry, serving churches in Louisiana, Georgia, and Texas. He has also lived out his gospel call as a missionary in Spain and as the director of a mission mobilization organization with work across Europe. He holds a B.A. from Liberty University and an M.Div. in Christian Thought from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
His heart for Resurrection is straightforward: he wants to meet people where they are, help them grow in their Christian walk, and find their place in God’s kingdom work.

Resurrection Church is committed to the New Testament vision of a plurality of elders. While we are in the early stages of that process, Lyndle Jackson and Daniel Shalley are serving alongside Pastor Ian in the administration of the church. Both are founding members who have been with Resurrection Church from the very beginning.

Resurrection Church is committed to the New Testament pattern of church leadership: a plurality of elders overseeing the congregation and deacons serving the practical needs of the church. We are currently in the process of prayerfully identifying and affirming men who meet the biblical qualifications for these roles. We believe this process is too important to rush.
Elder and deacon appointments will be announced here as they are formally recognized by the congregation.
We are not trying to build a big church. We are trying to build a faithful one, where the pastor knows your name, your children grow up alongside their grandparents, and the Gospel shapes every part of life together.
